  1. Dear Mr. Mollohan,
I think that the law where you go out and search for illegal aliens is a pretty decent law because, too many immigrants have been sneaking in and taking all of our jobs that we work hard to get a hold of for decent people who need this job to support their families. Also, when and if you get this law up and running then be sure to send the law enforcers in with caution some of those immigrants might be packin some heat. I also think that this law will make it better for us because, people from foreign countries won’t be able to come to our country without first consulting with the border patrolmen. So I think that this is important because we won't have aliens taking advantage of us in any given circumstance or act of non-americanism.

  2. Dear Representative Capito

I support you bill to recognize John Browns raid on Harpers Ferry. It was a major event in the abolitions movement. I am however curious as wither or not you will be parting it in a positive or a negative light. Thought his reasons for attacking the armory was just he did attack a federal building and kill federal employees.

I also would like to know who you intend to recognize the anniversary. I myself am partial to parades. Also a day off of school couldn’t hurt. Do you plan on setting up a memorial in Harpers Ferry?

Well I support your bill and wish you the best of luck. I am very interested in history and think that there should be more things to honor the event of our history. And I want more days off school

    Sincerely
    Jacob

  3. Dear Mr. Mollohan
So the “Road to nowhere Garvin says” this bill is important because there is a windy road with no lines. Then all of a sudden there is a beautiful 4 lane highway that goes on for about 10 miles. Yes it is important. Why Is it important because we want it to be about 30 to 40 miles long in 4 lane high way.
The bill is good because the gravel roads are nasty. I live in Vienna WV, There is not too many gavel roads. The high ways are very clean though I want to keep everything clean. The gravel in the pot holes just make the pot holes even worse so I don’t know why they put it there anyhow.
What do I think about this bill, I think this bill is very important because the roads are terrible now days? Our cars can’t handle all the ruggedness. The shocks and the a arms just go shot so yeah we need the roads paved every year once a year.

    Thank you, Caleb R

    Dear Mr. Rahall,
To authorize a supplemental funding source for catastrophic emergency wildland fire suppression activities on Department of the Interior and National Forest System lands, to require the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to develop a cohesive wildland fire management strategy, and for other purposes. I think this is a great bill to pass so it could help stop wildfires. There is lots of brush around greenbrier country and I think that it would really make an impact. I know that there have been a lot of wildfires all over our southern part of West Virginia so the smart thing to do is to try to prevent it. It would also help kids during the summer make some money for clothes. It could make some more job offerings. You could feel so good about being productive for a good cause, Not just to be making money but to help the world out a little more. Or at least the state.

  5. My personal opinoin I DO NOT THINK THAT THE BILL IS IMPORTANT.
I think the bill is BAD!!!!!!!!
I dont think that they need to catch more immirgrants. Why do people call them alliens. they are not alliens!!! you all need to put yourself in their position. If you was from another country and you didnt have the money to take care of your family and you knew if you went to the US you would be able to provide your family the things they need then you would be doing the same thing. Even though you could get in trouble but your family would be taken care of.I think that we need to let immigrants be. they work when they are over here. they are no different then what we are. Just because they are a different race or they are from a different country. you all need to get over yourself and share the FREEDOM THAT YOU HAVE WITH OTHERS THAT DONT HAVE NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!! sorry if i came off wrong but i said it as nice as I could be.
    HAVE A GOOD EVENING!!!!!!

    Dear Mr. Rahall,
I am writing you this letter to commend you on your bill to establish a National Coal Miners Day in the United States. I think that this is a wonderful idea. My grandpa was a coal miner in the Sanderson Mines in Kanawha County, West Virginia for many years and he has told me some great stories about working in the mines. He also told me how heroic and just good natured miners are. Working in the coal mines, is an extremely dangerous job. I think that a Coal Miners Day to celebrate them would be such a great thing to do. They deserve way more praise and respect than they get. We get our electricity by them risking their lives and going underground for us. Without coal mining and coal miners, West Virginia would not have such a profound and rich heritage.

    Sincerely,
    Emilee S.

  7. Dear shelly moore capito,
I think that your law about providing subsides for interests on loans for rural multifamily housing guarantee by the rural housing service of department of agricultural, is a very good idea. I know that when I was little we lived out in the middle of know where and there wasn’t really any room in our house and I would have loved for this law to have been past back then. I also think that it would help a lot of people who don’t have a lot of money. Because even though I don’t have a lot of money I ended up making it in the end.
I hope that people take this into consideration because this can end up being them one day or this can be their families. People need to take others in considerations before they just take themselves in consideration, and I think that’s what your doing. I very much appreciate your help, and what your trying to to for people who don’t have that much and for the people who live in not so nice houses with a bunch of people who have to share clothes, and beds.
I really appreciate what you trying to do for everyone, and I really glad that your trying to do something for other people, and figure things out. I hope that other people figure out what they want to do, and get with the game, and figure it out. I really like this law, and I hope that the next time I read about it, it will be a passed law. Once again this is an experince I have been through, and its not very fun, so I hope that it is something that happens soon. So I hope that it comes together soon. Thanks again for your support.
    Sincerely,
    Chasity M

  8. Dear Dear Mr. Mollohan

I am writing you in concer to H.R.1489 : To extend Corridor O of the Appalachian Development Highway System from its current southern terminus at I-68 near Cumberland to Corridor H, which stretches from Weston, West Virginia, to Strasburg, Virginia.

I think that this would be a great idea. By adding onto this road it would really be a good thing for the people who live there. By adding on to this road it will by safe for the people who travel it too.

I have never traveled on this road before but my teacher Mr. Garvin was educating me on how this road was. It would be greatly appricate if something was done. Thank you so much.

  9. Dear congresswoman Capito,
I love this law because I love my mom very much. What she’s done for me is a lot of good things. She has never treated me bad. I’m glad that they have a day to celebrate for moms. My mom deserves more than a day to celebrate what she’s done for me. A coin is something that everyone will see. Its important because moms deserve a lot because of everything they’ve done.

    Dear Ms. Shelly Moore Capito,

I, Jessica, read your bill H.R.1847 to require the inclusion of coal-derived fuel at certain volumes in aviation fuel, motor vehicle fuel, home heating oil, and boiler fuel. I honestly don`t agree with this decision. This bill will just pollute are planet more than it already is. The bill H.R.1847 is not very important to me. The bill could honestly just be forgotten about. There is no need to pollute our community more. I think that we should just use Hybrid cars again. They don`t pollute and they work great.

The bill is not good at all. I think that this bill should not be passed. The only thing people want out of this bill is more money. Using more coal will just supple more money for workers. My opinion is that people don`t care about are health as long as they get they get what you want. There is nothing good about this bill you want passed.

I think the congress with not pass this bill. I hope they take it in to consideration that they are polluting our planet and they are making our health worse. They just want more money and not being considered of us. Honestly you should think about this bill more thoroughly. Take your time and think about the consequences about this bill. Thank you for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Jessica

I think that the rule To extend Corridor O of the Appalachian Development Highway System from its current southern terminus at I-68 near Cumberland to Corridor H, which stretches from Weston, West Virginia, to Strasburg, Virginia Is a very good idea. Because, driving down the same road looking at nothing all the time can get boring.
IN GENERAL- The Secretary of Transportation may assist in the construction of an Appalachian development highway system and local access roads serving the Appalachian region to provide a highway system that, in conjunction with the Interstate System and other Federal-aid highways in the Appalachian region, will open an area with developmental potential in which commerce and communication have been inhibited by lack of adequate access
    (a) In General- There is designated as an addition to Corridor O in Maryland and West Virginia on the Appalachian Development Highway System a segment from Interstate Route 68 to Corridor H.

  12. Ms. Shelly Capito....

    H.R.4048

I think you should try really hard to get this bill passed because I am a big fan of our troops and I belive if they come back from serving for our country with traumatic brain injuries I think that they deserve to have treatment so that they can get better. I think that if we have men and women going to war to fight for our freedom and they are getting these brain injuries that the least I feel we could do for them is give them the treatment the need and deserve.
    Sincerally Yours,

  13. Dear Shelly Capito,
I think you law is bad for our environment. We already have enough trees and hill sides getting destroyed. I know it is bad for us because I did a research on going green and it causes pollution and some people can’t stand it and I am one of them people that can’t stand it. Also they are getting some stuff in the water and when people are mining they get black lug and they can die.
Next, I don’t think you should build more mine plants because it is bad for people and there children. I know people get paid a lot of money doing this job because it is deadly, but it destroys the trees and mountain sides. I also think that it is wrong to go around and blow trees and other stuff out of the way just so you guys can go and mine coal I know we need it to power out houses and other appliances that we might have.
Last, I think other people would agree with me on this law. Other than that I think this law is dumb. I know coal mining is a big part of our state, but to many people die trying to save people from have no power I support them, but I don’t think we need it.

  14. Dear Nick Rahall,

I think that coal miners should have their own national holiday. That day will celebrate their hard work, honor, and contributes. If you help me other people in the United States would probably particpate local and National activities celebrating and honoring the contributions of miners. Also, I think that the coal miners would really appreciate your hard work to.

I was wondering if you would help me? If you would, people like coal miners and others would really appreciate it. Also, I want to know what is your ideas and inputs in this discussion. So when you do have your inputs together write me back. That is what I think about the coal miners?

That is what I was wanting to know about the coal miners holiday? So please help me if you can. I would really appreciate it and would the same as the other coal miners. So that is all I wanted to tell you this letter. Thank you for your time.

  15. Dear Representative Shelley Moore Capito,
I support bill H.R.1904, which states that part of the Income Tax that American Citizens receive will go to the construction of the Mexican/American border and to other things. I think it is a good idea, because illegal immigrants don’t deserve to come to our country. I think that if people from other countires want to become American citizens, they need to go through the right procedures. This bill will help our economy, because a lot of these aliens find work that is illegal, and don’t pay taxes. It is a mistake to not care about this issue.
This bill will also put money toward other things. I think it will be a good idea to put money towards counter terrorism. It will help us become a safer country. It will put American people at peace and will give them a new sense of hope. It will hopefully make people see America in a better way. It is nice to see people actually supporting a bill that will make a positive change in our country. I do not see a way how this bill will hinder America.
Overall, this is going to help our coutry be successful. It will keep aliens out of our country. The more people see the safety of our country improving, the more hope they will have. I have seen illegal immigrants living in housing areas, and not pay taxes. It is cheating the government, and is wrong. This bill will help us receive hope, that many citizens lost during the past year.
    Sincerely,
    Derrick Brown

  16. Dear Congresswomen Capito,
I just wanted to let you know that I support our troops and I think they deserve that type of help. I agree with the fact that the Pilot program will help save our veterans.
Our veterans and troops sacrificed themselves for us so I think we should sacrifice and help them out big time. I have noticed that we have had a lot of troops come home with Brain Injuries.
I have a buddy in the military and it would absolutely devastate me if I found out he was hurt. He is sacrificing a lot for our country, and if he got hurt we should sacrificed for him as well as other troops who have served.
Another thing is, is that when our troops and pilots get injured its more than just a bike accident or some scraped knee! When our troops get injured, sometimes it’s a life threatening situation. I just wanted to thank you for starting this program.
    Thank you,
    Brian

  18. I think that sarah expressed her opinion appropriately, she said that it was a bad bill, she said why she felt that way. She became a little snappy, but she reeled it in. I think if she is more calm next time then it will be better.
