I think most people deserve a second chance because people do make mistakes and if the mistake isnt to severe they should get another chance. for example if u murder someone u shouldnt get a second chance cause they person they killed cant get a second chance and thats not fair. but if its pretty much any other situation u should get one more chance to try n fix what u did(:

I believe that everybody deserves a second chance because any time you give me a second cj=hance its over and over again but I can still be ablr to believe in myself no matter how many “2nd chances” you give me I still deserve the chance to do it right the next time no matter what.
ReplyDeletePlaxico was sentenced ori ginally to 3 ½ years in federal prison for unlawfulay carring a handgun, which was said to be a “mockery of the law”. It was then said to be only 2 years he served by turning himself in for the carringly a wepon unlawfully.
Yes, people do deserve second chances. Although there are some people in this world d who don’t. As an example shooting yourself in a club is a dumb mistake and can be forgiven but raping a child is one that should not be forgiven but can be forgiven as long as they are back in their right mind. People who kill I know this is going to sound dumb deserve a second chance just because they do it once does always mean they’re going to do it twice to just depends on the persons stability really and that’s why we have psychiatric evaluations to see who s capable and who is incapable.
ReplyDeleteI would Grant some people a second chances like troubled adults and teenagers who do dumb things get into a fist fight at a bar or even skip a little bit of school. Like I said up in my first paragraph just because someone murdered someone doesn’t mean they’re going to do it the second time around so most people should get a second chance. But…..There is a difference between people like a person who only kills one person and regrets it should deserve a second but someone who goes around killing people, many people and don’t have regrets and treasure those times are sick and don’t deserve a second chance.
As my ending result Plaxico Burris Should deserve a second chance.

Plaxico Antonio Burress served a two-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to weapons charges. I dont think he deserves a second chance because he had a weapon and if he would of got drunk or even by accident he could really hurt someboby with it. Just imagine if he wouldnt shot himself and he shot someboby else, and that person would have died. He would be in prison longer then he served. On my opinion i think he sould of stayed in there longer then what he did. Not only him im talking about anyboby. If they mess up they need to serve a consequince even if it has to do with doing all the chores in the house because you did something bad.

I feel that it depends on the circumstance if the person should get a second chance or not. Chances for them can be another opportunity to mess or to change, whatever way they want to take it. I am the type of person to give a second chance because I would like to see if they would be true and take that second chance more serious or if they would screw me over.

I believe that boess deserves a second chance because he has a family and it was an accident. He didn't do it on purpose. Everybody makes mistakes we just have to learn from them. It's not right to just take everything away from him and his family because of what he did.

ReplyDeleteI think that Plaxico Burress deserves a second chance. I feel that he made a very bad mistake, although this mistake had nothing to do with the NFL. He took responsibility for what he did and did his time. So why is he being punished even more by not being able to keep the career he loves? He had an illegal gun, if he wouldn’t have shot himself nobody would have known he had it on him, and he would more than likely still be in the NFL today.

I believe that unless you raped, murdered, tortured, or beat someone than you should have a second chance. Everybody screws up, and that's a fact. We just have to learn from the things we do ya know. Having and giving second chances are very important...

Giving second chances depends on an individuals situation. Every person in the entire world isn’t perfect and we all have slip ups now and again. But serious things such as murders, cheating in relationships, molesting , stealing, etc. do not whatsoever deserve second chances because they are no joking matter. However, I’m not saying that the person commiting the act shouldn’t be forgiven. If someone is given a second chance and they make the same mistake, obviously they haven’t learned or progressed from the past. Once a cheater/molester/murderer/ stealer/whatever always a cheater/molester/murderer/stealer/whatever . Unless that person reaches a point in life to where they want to change themselves and make things right, then they most likely don’t deserve another chance. On the other hand, if they do actually work towards helping themsleves, then it may be acceptable to start putting your trust in them once more. I truly believe in the old saying, “Actions speak louder than words.”
ReplyDeleteMy opinion on Plaxico Burris is that he rightfully deserves a second chance. Having illegal weapons doesn’t have a thing to do with the NFL. How would you feel if someone took away your passion of a simple mistake you made? Everyone deserves to be allowed to do the very things they enjoy and love. Otherwise you would just wallow in misery. Maybe he had a reason to pull the trigger you know? It’s his life. If he wants to do things like that, then all the power to him. Same goes for everyone.

I believe people should get a 2nd chance because everyone makes bad mistakes some might grow from the mistakes but some don’t and that would be on them and they would have to own up to the stuff they did . But if you would like kill someone or rape a kid or anyone. You should not get a 2nd chance at live or your job or anything at all because that is not right and you know it.
