  1. Dear Charlene Marshall and Amanda Pasdon,
Hey my name is kayla. Im from morgantown west virginia. I am 17 years old. I attend university high school im in the 12th grade. I want to graduate and become a nurse. I want to move to atlanta when I turn 18 and start a new life down there. I want to go to college.
Its Important for my county to be a better place to live because its important for it to look nice. I tink the government is building to much stuff at one time. Its looking clustered and very sloppy. The view of morgantown is going down the air is getting polluted and so is the river. Most the buildings and stores are pretty much pointless. There is also starting to be more and more violance as the city grows.
I think you can help my county by making more rules and regulations about violance and littering. You could also put a stop to all construction unless its I vital need. Downtown morgantown is so cluttered. The more people we get for college is making the community even worse and there needs to be a stop to it.
    Sincerely, Kayla B(:

  3. Dear Helen Martin,
I am Taylor and I live in Putnam County. I went to hurricane high school. I have grown up in hurricane and I love the small town. It is really peaceful and relaxing. Everybody knows everybody. People are very welcoming too.
It would be important to put more sidewalks so people can walk or ride bikes more so we can get more exercise. I like to walk with my friends to get exercise but most of the time we have to walk along side of the road which is very dangerous by the way and there are barley any sidewalks so we can walk to town.
I can help my county by writing letters to my delegates. Also by helping clean up around my town to make it cleaner. I can speak to the mayor of my town and give them my suggestions.
    Sincerely
    Taylor

Hi! My name is Melanie W. and I live in Masontown WV. My county is all about drugs. There are way too many people using, and selling and getting there selves in trouble or even getting killed. If all that would change our county would be and do so much better.
We need help with people to stop doing the drugs they do. I think that if you encourage people, since you’re a house of delegate and put posters, pictures and different things up all around and have more NA and AA meetings that they will think about it and try to stop the things they do.
Doing that would make Preston County a better place. It would help out a lot and my opinion people would start thinking more about their surroundings and d things then just there drugs and how to get them.
    Yours Truly,
    Melanie W.

  5. Dear, Mike Caputo
My name is Tiara I live in Fairmont West Virginia on east side. I go to EFHS. I love to be out doors and play sports. Some of my sports that I play is softball and basketball. One of my most favorite sport that I like to play is football. At my school it’s a problem for girls to play football.
Here’s the thing are school does not have that much money and can’t afford a power puff team for us girls that love to play football. So we desided to go to the football coach and ask him if we can join the team. The first thing he did was laugh in are face and rejected us. I didn’t think it was a law that girls couldn’t be on the varsity football team.
I need your help to either get the coach to let us girls that want to play football join the football team, or have our highschool start up a power puff team for us. We would dearly appreciate it. I played football all of my life growing up and I would really want to play for the football team with all my friends and cousins. I hope you really know where I’m trying to get at, because football is my life.
    Tiara B

    Dear Daniel Poling,
Hi my name is Kadie L I am currently residing at Pressley Ridge White Oak Village; a level 3 residential treatment facility. I would like to give you some suggestions about the Wood County Region. I attended Parkersburg High School before I Came here, and I Have some issues with the school code of conduct. I do not think that it is fair that females are not permitted to participate in wrestling and football. I believe women are just as equal to men and it’s not fair that females are being treated differently. I would really like to see this change and be enforced and be well known that females will be allowed to participate in these activities.

    Sincerely,
    Kadie L.

    1.)K. Steven Kominar
    2.)Harry Keith White

    Dear K. Steven Kominar,
My name is Sabrina Johnson and I live in Gilbert (Mingo County). I feel that my county could use several more attractions such as movie theaters, shopping malls, restaurants, and parks. Countless people live in a extremely small area where there is not much of anything around. Some have to travel an hour or more just to get to the nearest mall. Litter is also another major issue that citizens have to deal with. It’s not only disturbing to breath in all the waste but ugly to the eye as well.
Providing and doing something about these situations can make a enormous impact in our entire community. I happen to know that there is plenty of money to go around and it wouldn’t even take a fraction of it to make a change for the better happen. Also, lots of people have very busy schedules and it would make an outstanding improvement if attractions were located closer. Removing some filth from the roads, creeks, etc. would still be more useful than nothing at all. Having these things done would make people near and far have a more enjoyable environment to live in. Even tourists might find the place more appealing.
So in conclusion, I hope you at least take the time to consider to at least have one of these stressful problems fixed. I can promise you it won’t go unappreciated. I’m not saying at all to jump right into it. Just take it one step at a time. Thanks so much for taking your time out to read this and I, along with many others, will be so very grateful if you make the right decision.
    Sincerely, Sabrina Dawn :)

My name is alexandra & I live in fairmont wv on west side by the old miller high school . well I feel that east side get’s everything and that’s not right because west side needs some more stuff in the parks and in town and a big mall and it should be made a law that police should not be able to say if some one has done wrong or not because they don’t know what happened because they were not there . I hope u have a nice day

    Daniel Poling
    Dear Daniel Poling,
Hi, my name is Lacey W. and I am sixteen years old. I live in Parkersburg, West Virginia on SouthSide. Wood County would be a much better place to live if it was cleaner and the roads were fixed. I feel like you should try to get our roads fixed. Teen-agers should have more paying jobs in the summer and on weekends. I feel like if teen-agers were payed to pick up trash, plant flowers, and mow lawns then our county would be a much better place to live. Plus, if we could get teen-agers to help out and have fun then there would be a lot less teen crimes happening. I am in placement and I see a lot more kids come in here because they were bored at home and had nothing else to do rather than get into trouble with other people. Teen-agers need more things to help them occupy their time. A lot of kids cannot be in sports or get jobs because of their grades. So if kids could have the chance to get a job while having fun with other teen-agers no matter what their record or education problems then I know for a fact that a lot more kids would be getting out of trouble because they work for you. So what I feel like you could do is give troubled teens jobs helping out around the community. So what I am trying to say is if you reel these teeen-agers in then they will be less likely to get into trouble and also we will have a more happy and cleaner community. I would really appreciate it if you would spread my idea around to others and ask if they feel like this is a good plan. If you actually read this then I would like to say thank you very much for your time and I hope you give this a chance.
