If I could choose one person to be a judge, I would pick Chief Jim. Chief Jim is someone i trust, and believe has an abundance of wisdom. Everytime I talk to Chief Jim, he seems to understand and think of points from a different perspective. Chief Jim also listens to all points of view, and can change his mind according to logic. He is very fair.
ReplyDeleteI also believe that Steven Colbert would be a good judge. Everytime I watch his show, he creates an image in my mind that allows me to understand the politics better. He can put a spin on a topic that gets me thinking. He is also very funny. I think he would be a good judge because he thinks differently than most politicians I see on Television.
Someone else I think should be president is James R. Clapper. He is under the secretary of defense. He makes a lot of intelligent decisions regarding the military. He is used to making tough and controversial decisions.I believe that he would make a good judge, because of these decisions that are made by him.
What does it take to become a Supreme Court Judge?
ReplyDeleteMy Chief Jim would be a good judge. Reason why is because he would not take nobody’s stuff. Also, because he is a good honest person. He would also pass a background check. That is who I would pick this time.
Michael Jordan would also be a good judge. Reason why is because he is arguementive. He is a good guy. Also, because he would get things done in the office. That is who I would pick next.
Judge Frazier is a good judge. He is an assertive person. He doesn’t take peoples stuff. Also, he is an great guy. That is why my judge is an good judge.

I think my grandmother would be a good judge. She is a fair person and a good listener. She thinks hard on every decision she makes, and always hears a people out. She may or may not abuse the death penalty.
ReplyDeleteI think Bill Cosby would be a good Supreme Court judge. He is educated and very opinioned. He speaks well in front of an audience and might be able to put some smiles of the faces of the other judges.
I think Judge Judy should be the next Supreme Court justice. She has handled many different cases and has tons of experience. She knows what’s right and won’t take any crap. She is in my opinion just what our country needs to settle some of the petit disputes that make it to the

ReplyDeleteI think that my mom should be a judge because she has taught me a lot of life lessons on what to do and what not to do . Also I think she should be one because she is well educated and her mother taught her some stuff about the judicial system and other economical issues or events that occurred in a court of law or supreme court justice leader. These reasons are reasons why I think she would be a very good judge.

I think that “Big Ben”, Ben Roethlisburger, should be a judge because he is or leads my favorite football team who also won 6 super bowls and still is winning some games. Also I think he should be a judge because he is or should I say has a very good education and is playing in professional football. These reasons are why I think he would make a good judge.

The Judge who is a current justice law firm is Judge John Roberts. The reason I picked him was because he recieved an A.B. from Harvard College in 1976 and a J.D. from Harvard Law School in 1979. Also because he is the chief justice of the supreme court. These reasons are why I think he is a good judge for the supreme court
If I was the president I would pick chief Rob to be a judge. I would pick him because he knows a lot about cases and other stuff like that.
ReplyDeleteChief Rob would be the best Judge for me because I know him really well and he knows a little bit about me. He is a really smart guy, but he can get pretty pissed sometimes that would be a really good thing because some judges get really mad sometimes when people try to speak when they are speaking.
Another reason why I would want him to be my judge would be so he could chill with the president for a couple of days. I think he would like to be a judge so he could sentence people and so he can help people out with there cases and he never takes any crap from anybody he stands up for his rights and he would be a very good judge.
What Does It Take To Be A Supreme Court Judge?
Being a Supreme Court Justice is no easy task. The United States Supreme Court consists of only one Chief Justice and eight Associate Justices. Supreme Court Justices undergo a rigorous nomination process and are appointed for life. If you still dream of wearing the robes and deciding landmark cases, here are some tips to help you on your path to becoming a Supreme Court Justice.
You have to go to law school. Anybody can be a supreme court justice. However in practice the distinction has been reserved for lawyers. Doing well in law school passing the bar exam and developing a law practice will therefore help you on your way to becoming a Supreme Court Justice. Understand the role of the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is the highest court in the land. Its function is to review decisions of the lower courts that involve interpretation of the Constitution federal law or treaties.
Become a federal judge. Almost all Supreme Court nominees have been judges on the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. This is a group of regional courts that governs appeals of district court decisions. Federal Appeals Courts work on cases that can later be appealed to the Supreme Court.
Be political. Supreme Court justices are nominated by sitting presidents, usually because they are thought to be representative of a certain political party values. Participating in politics will help in becoming a Supreme Court Justice.
The Constitution sets forth no specific requirements. However, members of Congress, who typically recommend potential nominees, and the Department of Justice, which reviews nominees' qualifications, have developed their own informal criteria.
ReplyDeleteHon. Jeffrey B. Reed is found is the juvinaial courthouse in wood county West Virginia. He was he was first elected circuit judge in 1993 one year after I was born. He was also Prosecuting Attorney for four years. Jeffrey reed also holds a law degree in West Virginia and a bachelor arts degree.
I think that my aunt Nancy would be a good judge because she is very good at listening to people’s opinion. I also think that my chief Robert would make a good judge because he is good at making his point. I thing I would be a good judge because I would just send every kid to a placement to teach them a lesson so they will keep out of trouble.

Circuit Judge Jeffrey B. Reed of Wood and Wirt counties was first elected circuit judge in 1993. Before becoming a circuit judge, he was in private practice from 1984-1988. He also served as Wood County Prosecuting Attorney from 1989-1992. He holds a law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University. He was recipient of the 2003 Commissioner's Award for outstanding achievement in the field of child abuse and neglect prevention, Chairperson of the West Virginia Court Improvement Oversight Board, and a member of the Wood County Commission on Crime, Delinquency & Corrections. He is also an Adjunct Professor in criminal law at West Virginia University at Parkersburg and a Continuing Education Instructor for circuit judges, magistrates and circuit judge law clerks.

Circuit Judge Robert A. Waters was first elected Circuit Judge in 1992 and re-elected in 2000. The 4th Judicial Circuit includes Wood County and Wirt County. He began practicing law in Parkersburg in 1979. He served a total of eight years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney.
He holds a law degree from West Virginia University College of Law and a bachelor of arts degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College. He has been awarded a Diploma of Judicial Skills from the American Academy of Judicial Education and has attended the National Judicial College.
In law school he was a member of the West Virginia Law Review and received the Am Jur Award in Criminal Law.

ReplyDeleteI think that Chief Crystal would be a very good jugde. I think she would be a good one because she is not scared to tell you how it really is. She is also very fair and belives in wrong and right.
I also think my little sister would make a good judge. She dosnt belive in letting kids off with tiny punishment for the bad things they have done. She belives in the truth and theres is no doubt that if she bacame a judge she would let the truth be known and tell people whats up.
I think that judge Judy should be a supreme court judge just because shes not afraid of people and their feelings and shes very fair. She is also the type of person who will tell you how it is without hesitation.

ReplyDeleteI think that I would be a good judge. The reason I think that I would be a good judge is because I have been through a lot. I know what it take to get people realize reality. I would not be hard but I also wouldn’t be easy. I know how the families feel when someone close to them goes to jail for life. It feels bad and it sucks but some time that what it take to get them realize reality. I would let some people out in like 15 years as long as they are doing what they are suppose to do. If they are in their fighting and acting a fool then I would leave them in there and careless about them.
I think Plies would be a good judge. The reason I think he would be a good judge is because he would be hard. He has been there and did bad things but he change. I think that if teenagers would see him as a judge then they would change there ways around.
Judge Bloom is my judge. He is a good judge. Yes, sometimes I disagree with him because he gave my friend that was 15 when he got locked up life with no mercy. I think that he should eventually get another chance but it life. Overall he has made me realize a lot of things that I have not realized. He does whats best for the individuals that came in front of him. If I had and easier judge then I would have messed up again and probly been died. He made me realize that the people I was chillin with could end up getting me killed but sometimes I think he is just talking a bunch of nothin but deep down inside I know he is right.

Because I think I would make a good judge because I would look at both sides of the story and I would not be mean. I would make a good judge because I’ve been on both sides of the law.
The next judge pick would be Bob Marley because he would be the best judge in forever. And because he is awesome and he was a peaceful man. I think he should be president too.
The last judge I would pick is my probation officer because she is nice and truthful. I would pick her because she looks for what’s best for you, not just to punish you.

ReplyDeleteJessica should be a supreme court judge because she has great authority when it comes down to it. When she needs to be stricked, and down to business then she is stricked, and down to business. She always knows the right thing to say. The only thing that would be a problem is that she doesn’t seel this career so that this probably wouldn’t be something that she would be good at. But if she put her mind to it then she would be very helpful.
Judge I think should be:
Philip M. Stowers Circuit Judge would be a good judge because he is a good attorny at law. He has a good education. He knows how to get all the information he needs, and he knows whether your lying. He likes when you tell the truth, and he treats you right when you are good. I believe he would be good at what he does and he should be the next circuit court judge.
Judge I think should be :
Debra Fields Is a probabtion officer. She knows how to do her job well. She is always on her toes doing what she needs to do. She is up in your business making sure your doing your job as well. If your having trouble then you are welcome to come and talk to her. When ever you are having problems then you can have you can talk to her like she is just a friend. She would be a very good canidate. I hope her the best.
