  1. Dear Mr G. I think the Day Care Center would need some help because there is a lot of kids there and only a few teachers. I would volunteer there so I could help them out. The reason why I would volunteer is because I like kids and I would love to be with them for a whole day and have a blast with them.

  2. Dear Mr. Garvin,
For my service on ML King Day of Service I would volunteer for the Reach Out and Read program. This program is to encourage families to read aloud to their childern, and the volunteers go to the hospital and read to childern in the waiting room just for fun. And just to show the importance of reading. This program is also offered at my hometown and that’s why I would be very interested in this program.
I believe I would be successful in this program because I love little kids. I also love to read. I also believe that reading is an important part of life and that everybody should know how to read. I am also a very good reader therefore it wouldn’t be hard for me at all to continue doing what needs to be done.

I would get great satisfaction out of this type of volunteer work because to see little kids and families be happy brightens my day and makes me feel better about myself. And that’s why I would pick this type of work.

  3. Dear Mr. Garvin
I was wondering if I could volunteer for the community. There are a lot of places I could volunteer at. A lot of people need the help. Community Education - Disaster Prepardness in Central West Virginia is somewhere I would really like to help out at. It would give me something to do and a lot of people need to learn this.

Here are some of the things they are trying to get volunteers for. The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. In an attempt to meet our mission statement, the Huntington office of the Central West Virginia Chapter needs energetic men and women to promote prepardness awareness. This can include speaking to school aged children or community organizations or distributing brochures. Training provided.

In conclusion I would like to volunteer. If there is any way I could it would be great. I would have a good time. Please and thank you!
    ♥Sincerely,
    Ivorie H.

  7. Dear Mr. Garvin
I was wondering if I could volunteer at these following locations, a child care center in parkersburg on market street. I would like to work with these children to prepare myself more for the future and also to show these kids there are nice people in the world. Also I would like to volunteer at an animal shelter to volunteer and play with all the lovely animals:)
    Sincerely, Kendra..
