  1. The war in Afghanistan has been going on for roughly 9 years now. As a responce to 9/11 and a number of other terrorist acts that have been committed through out the years. After all this fighting this are still looking the same.
Support for the war is at an all time low. Recently comanders have been giving their troops peep talks in preperation for an offensive assult. U.S. troop will be being backed by the Brithsh and a number of other countries. Wether or not the assult will be a success is unknown.
Hope fully the new tactics that are about to be implimented will be exactly what is needed to turn this war in our favor. My only consern is how many troops will be need to maintain the upcomming assult. With little support and the moral low will we have enough to claim victory after all these years?

  2. I believe obesity in america is a problem. Alot of people are overweight and unhealthy. In my opinion the real problem is the choice in food that americans have.As a nation we should want to look good and operate well.In france their are barely any fat people we need to be a healthier nation.
If you see a broken down looking house you wont want to stay in it. It's the same with places. I dont want to be around a bunch of unhealthy people who dont want to stay healthy. I understand people have the right to eat, but i think america went a little overboard with the food. For us to be such a good nation we dont have very many healthy people.
To me its a shame to have more obeist people than healthy people. I saw a video on overweight people in america and i was not proud of the name we have given to ourselves. Im deffinatley not proud to be the most obeist nation in the world. People being to lazy to work out and choose a healthy diet are ridiculous.

  3. Im doing my essay on the war in Afghanistan. I think that the war should be over personally. Other do not think the same though. I wish that they would because the soldiers need to come home now. Currently this is what is going on in Afghanistan right now is that the troops are moving in now.

The War in Afghanistan is an ongoing coalition conflict which began on October 7, 2001. I really think that it should quit and just come home. If those people really want to kill theirselves, let them. That is what i think of that subject. That is why i think thast wayv also.

That is what my essay is about, You hear me garvin you know. I think that the soldiers should come home though. that is all i got for you today.

  5. Currently in Afghanistan on December 1,2009 President Obama announced he would deploy 30,000 soldiers over a period of six months.

The Afghanistan war has many different coalition conflicts which began on October 7,2001, the characteristic of the war evolved from a violent struggle against Al-Qaeda and became a complex counterinsurgency effort.

In conclusion the Afghanistan War has had many negative affects on the U.S. and its own nation and people which ties them down to a war of suffering and misery.

  6. Many people are wary about the fact that we are sending about 30,000 troops to Afghanistan. Is is a war that poses a threat, not only to Americans, but to the people bordering that country. I think that if we are fighting a war on terrorism in Afghanistan, people should be appreciative for us taking action in arresting the threats. If we do no act and just let the Afghans do what they want, who knows what would happen to us, or other countries, in the future?

The Taliban that occupies Afghanistan has been growing in force and needs to be removed. They are the reason for the economic destruction of the middle east. America is a gracious country and has helped Iraq already, and now it is time to restructure Afghanistan. The Taliban is not strong enough to overthrow the Afghan Government, but it is gaining momentum. President Obama plans to send troops back after 18 months. The Taliban is not something we should underestimate. They ARE a threat to our American security.

In conclusion, i think that our sending troops to Afghanistan is the right thing to do. I believe that we need to rid of the Taliban and insurgents so that we can have a safer country. The sooner we get rid of the problem, the sooner we can start worrying more about our exonomic losses. As long as our country is at a risk of being attacked, we need to discard the problem.

  7. What is going on in Afghaniststan right now? Well they sent more people over there which I think is good because that makes more people protecting us, but I don't like when people get sent over there and get killed because it sucks and they have a family and stuff to feed. I like what they are doing for us over there abd keeping us safe from some of the stuff that is happing.

the next thing that is going on over there is that they had avalanche that killed up to 150 people and flipped 13 vehicles that is some crazy stuff I would hate being over there, but if I had to I would just to fight for our country. The us army and milatary hare helping haiti very much now after their earth quake. They were the first resopnders from haiti.

My conclusion is that the war should of been over like 4 years ago and the troops should have been home with there familys and everybody should have Peace with evey country or state so there are no more wars.

  8. Did you hear about the avalanche that rocked the city of Kabul, in Afghanistan? Authorities recovered more than 150 bodies from a moutain pass on Wednesday, 100 more were injured. A series of avalanches struck the city unexpectedly. As many as 15 vehicles were buried under the snow, after the disaster struck.

The war in Afghanistan has been going on for many years. Though much hope and prayer has been given in the hopes of it coming to end, no matter what anyone does or says, people are still dying. Thousands of American Troops are killed every year. There is no end in sight.

Every day America is faced with these terrible tragedies, and disasters. We have to come together as a country and support our troops!

  9. The War in Afghanistan has been going since October 7, 2001. The 1st phase in the war was the aftermarth in terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 when the USA launched Operation Enduring Freedom.
Then On December 1, 2009 President Barack Obama announced that he would be sending 30,000 soldiers over a period of six months.
In conclusion I think that sending more troups is a bad idea. I think we should take of our country before we go take care of other country's. I mean don't get mean wrong I think it;s nice in all but I think 30,000 people is a little much.

  11. The War in Afghanistan has been an ongoing conflict that began October 7, 2001. Coalition allies were launched along with OEF, in response to September 11, 2001 attacks on the U.S. There are many phases of war, but the first one was because of the attacks of September 11. ... To be continued.
